SynopsisA melange of cabaret, new burlesque, circus sideshow and contemporary variety: 'La Clique is impossible to define. It is an ever-changing, motley assortment of some of the most outrageous, hilarious and downright bizarre and beautiful acts. On any evening you might see Norway's Captain Frodo whose eye-watering flexibility brings new meaning to the word contortion; Spain and the UK's Ursula Martinez whose show-stopping routines literally strip cabaret down to its barest essentials; Germany's David O'Mer, who has re-invented the pleasures of a nice soak in the tub; Kiev's Yulia Pikhtina, widely considered to be one of the finest exponents of the ancient art of hula hooping; The English Gents performing their inconceivable feats of human strength and skill; Larger than life, London's own Miss Behave - a larger than life, PVC-clad cartoon character with a fetish for swallowing pointy objects; the amazing puppets of Montreal's Cabaret Decadanse's who will instantly captivate, charm and blow your mind; and last, but not least, Mario, Queen of the Circus, a veteran of the New York alternative comedy scene, an uber-cool leather-bursting reincarnation of Freddie Mercury - if he'd ever run away and joined the circus. SynopsisA four-handed, part-confession, part-performance comedy drama based on Joan Rivers own larger-than-life rollercoaster life. While it presents the Joan that we know, from her biographies, TV appearance and live stand-up shows, it also reveals the woman behind the public face that the public have never seen before. Set in Joan's dressing room backstage at the Oscars ceremony, Joan is preparing for one of her legendary annual TV catwalk commentaries on the fashion hits and disasters at Hollywood's biggest night of the year. But all is not well... her dressing room is B, not A!!; her complimentary cheese is puny, not plentiful; and her producer is the bigwig's nephew, not the bigwig! The tension and drama are the catalyst for an introspective look at aging, going through life's ups and downs and being a woman in Hollywood.

SynopsisAlex is a city institution. His cartoon about life in the City of London appears every day on the front-page of the Daily Telegraph Business section. Alex's creators, Charles Peattie and Russell Taylor, have now written a play which brings the country's 'favourite obnoxious, not to mention devious and manipulative', cartoon investment banker to life.

Digital projection will allow Alex (Robert Bathurst), on stage, to interact with Charles Peattie's animations of Alex's world which will feature all of the familiar characters from the cartoon; his sidekick Clive, boss Rupert, graduate trainees, bibulous journalists, shady financial PR men, and freeloading industrialists.

Alex finds it increasingly difficult to juggle his job, his marriage and his social life as crisis hits all three and threatens to ruin him. He's in trouble with his long-suffering wife Penny, who has finally turned the tables on him. The business fortunes of his client, Mr Hardcastle, drastically unravel and Alex is to blame. Meanwhile, the scams and skivings which Alex has made his way of life over the years are about to be revealed by a mole in his department. Alex faces abject humiliation unless he can stitch up his rivals first.

Other InfoAlex began life on the City pages of the London Daily News in February 1987 and chronicled the lives of the Big Bang wealth generation. The paper soon ceased publishing but Alex was eagerly headhunted by Fleet Street, eventually accepting an offer from The Independent, where he stayed for four years. In 1992 he treacherously defected to The Daily Telegraph where he has appeared ever since.

SynopsisAVENUE Q is not the most upmarket of New York streets, and is about as far away from Park Avenue as you can get, but it is home to some lively and off the wall characters performed by an unholy comedic alliance of humans and puppets! Princeton, a bright-eyed college graduate, has just moved to this neighbourhood as he desperately tries to follow his dreams and discover his ever-elusive purpose in life. A tiny bank balance, the distraction of a busty blonde and a variety of weird and wonderful friends and neighbours lead Princeton on a hilarious story of self-discovery. Life may suck on AVENUE Q but being jobless, homeless, politically incorrect, having sex (whether hetero, homo or porno. and that's just the puppets) are just some of the topics featured in the songs of this show.

The action of each play takes place simultaneously and follows the same six characters in the same English country house from Saturday evening to Monday morning. Believing it his mission in life to make women happy by showering them with love, Norman makes the most of every opportunity to seduce his sister-in-law Annie , charm his brother-in-law's wife Sarah and woo his wife Ruth during a disastrous weekend of squabbling, eating, drinking and fondling.
